Job Title: Email Marketing Manager (HubSpot)

Role Overview:
We're looking for an Email Marketing Manager to own end-to-end the email marketing engine across lead nurtures, re-engagement, webinar/event follow-ups, customer and lifecycle campaigns.
You'll design, build, and optimize nurture workflows, campaign emails, HubSpot workflows that move prospects through the funnel and contribute to SQLs and pipeline, not just clicks and opens. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role. You'll work closely with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure the right message reaches the right contact at the right stage.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and manage HubSpot email programs: lead nurture, content/webinar nurture, reactivation, demo follow-ups, and database-based campaigns.
- Create workflow strategy: segmentation, enrollment rules, exit criteria, suppression logic, and personalization (persona, region, intent level, stage).
- Execute campaigns: email builds, QA, scheduling, A/B tests, and performance reporting.
- Partner with PMM/Content to draft email copy, align messaging, and reduce dependencies by owning first drafts + iteration.
- Own deliverability and list hygiene: domain reputation, bounce/spam management, preference management, and compliance with email best practices.
- Improve conversion rates across the journey: CTR, CVR to demo/meeting, reply rates, and MQL→SQL movement.
- Maintain clean operations: naming conventions, documentation, workflow governance, and repeatable processes.
- Collaborate with Sales/BDRs: handoff rules, follow-up triggers, and actionable alerts for high-intent engagement.
Success Metrics (90–180 days)
- Reliable, on-time execution of campaigns and workflows in HubSpot (minimal errors, strong QA).
- Improved engagement and conversion metrics across key workflows (directional improvement month-over-month).
- Measurable contribution to SQLs and pipeline from email-led and email-influenced programs.
- Strong deliverability health (reduced bounces/spam complaints, improved inbox placement trends).
Requirement:
- 2-6 years in B2B SaaS email/lifecycle marketing (title leveled based on experience).
- Hands-on HubSpot experience: workflows, lists/segmentation, automation, templates, reporting.
- Strong execution and QA discipline (testing, tracking, UTM hygiene, link validation).
- Solid understanding of B2B buyer journeys, funnel stages (MQL > SQL > SAO > Deal), and how email supports conversion at each stage.
- Analytical mindset: comfortable reading funnel metrics and running iterative experiments.
- Ability to define and track email influence metrics tied to pipeline outcomes, not just vanity metrics like open rates.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in security/compliance/GRC, IT/SaaS, or complex sales cycles.
- Familiarity with CRM hygiene, lead stages, attribution concepts, and lead scoring.
- Experience with multi-region campaigns (NA/EU/India) and persona-based journeys.
