Director of Demand Generation – Scrut Automation
Location: Remote (U.S., Eastern time zone preferred)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Director of Demand Generation to lead Scrut’s demand generation function. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will be responsible for creating strategies and programs that generate qualified pipeline from small and mid-market companies in the SaaS, Fintech, Healthtech, and Traveltech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the demand generation strategy from the ground up for small and mid-market companies.
- Drive campaigns to meet the quarterly pipeline targets and regularly review and optimise campaign performance.
- Design and implement multi-tier ABM campaigns (1:Many, 1:Few, 1:1) informed by intent and research.
- Lead multi-channel marketing programs—digital ads, paid & organic media, email, webinars, field events, content, etc.—and integrate them across the funnel.
- Collaborate with Sales, PMM, Content, RevOps to align messaging, assets, lead flows, and GTM plans.
- Develop and optimise landing pages, nurture streams, lead magnets, and manage the performance of website and campaign conversions.
- Establish and track key metrics (MQLs, SQLs, pipeline influence, CAC, CARR, CPL, CPM), lead budget allocation, and optimise tactics for ROI.
- Hire, mentor, and manage a small but high-performing team of demand generation specialists.
- Lead growth experiments and CRO efforts—A/B testing, personalisation, and iterative optimisation.
- Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and other partners as needed
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B marketing or demand generation, with a focus on measurable pipeline impact
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry is required
- Expertise targeting small and mid-market companies
- Proven experience building or scaling demand generation functions in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Experiment with AI tools to increase the efficiency and efficacy of demand gen processes
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
